Johnson Pope’s Health Care Group regularly assists medical staffs and individual physicians on a range of issues, including medical staff bylaws, peer review, rules and regulations, fair hearing procedures, corrective actions and National Practitioner Data Bank reporting.
We work closely with medical staffs and health care organizations, and provide counseling and advice to medical staff leadership of health care organizations, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and other specialty facilities. Our Health Care Group has drafted numerous medical staff bylaws and related policies and procedures, assisted medical staff organizations with fair hearing proceedings and conducted audits for compliance with federal, state and accreditation requirements.
