Leonard H. Johnson

Experience

Len Johnson focuses his practice on commercial real estate, business, banking, construction, and land use and development law.  Len’s practice spans over four decades, all in the Tampa Bay area.  In addition to his law practice, Len was a bank holding company president for over 15 years, which provides a unique insight into lending transactions.  He has substantial experience in acquisition and development of real estate projects and serves several clients in an outside general counsel role, reviewing and drafting contracts, and advising as to entity structure.  Len is also admitted to practice in Colorado and New York.

Len has a long history of community involvement, including serving on the Board of Trustees of the University of Florida, and as a Distinguished Director of Gator Boosters, Inc., where he also served as President in 2016-2017, along with many local roles.

When He’s Not Working Hard for Clients

When not working, Len loves following the Florida Gators, boating and fishing, and being a grandfather to three wonderful grandchildren in the Tampa area.  He has been married to his wife, Nancy, for over 40 years, and their two children, Brock Johnson and Paige Dingman, reside in Tampa with their families.
