Adam Kravatz is a transactional attorney who focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, business and corporate law, and strategic transactions across diverse industries. Adam represents private equity firms, middle-market companies, and entrepreneurs in structuring, negotiating, and closing deals ranging from multi-million-dollar acquisitions to the sale of closely held businesses.

While the majority of his work involves general corporate transactions, as a member of Johnson Pope’s Healthcare Practice Group, Adam also brings deep experience in the healthcare sector. Before joining Johnson Pope, he served as General Counsel for a health information technology and management solutions company, where he led acquisitions of healthcare technology businesses in the senior living space. Earlier in his career, Adam practiced at Kirkland & Ellis, one of the largest Am Law 10 firms in the country, where he received specialized training in high-value M&A transactions and complex corporate matters. This experience provided him with a rigorous foundation in sophisticated deal work that he draws on today in advising clients across industries.

Adam’s representative experience includes advising on the $123 million sale of a multi-specialty physician group, supporting a private equity firm in acquiring a behavioral healthcare company, and guiding a national insurance conglomerate through roll-up acquisitions collectively valued at over $100 million. He has also advised clients on divestitures, joint ventures, restructuring, and complex commercial contracts requiring careful coordination and regulatory compliance.

Known for his pragmatic, results-oriented style, Adam helps clients understand the full landscape of their transactions, from due diligence and risk assessment to post-closing integration. He often serves as a long-term advisor to businesses as they grow and evolve, bringing a focus on clarity and efficiency that clients appreciate in fast-moving deals.
