Johnson Pope Partner Mark Bentley Launches USF Scholarship
TAMPA — This year, Johnson Pope partner, Mark Bentley, long-recognized as one of the state’s top land use lawyers and a long-time supporter of local professional planning development activities in partnership with the Sun Coast section of APA—adds to the list of his extraordinarily distinguished contributions. Mark has launched an endowed scholarship to emerging planners enrolled in the USF Master of Urban and Regional Planning program.
The Mark Bentley APA Sun Coast Section Scholarship will provide $1,000 to a graduate planning student of merit each year. The awards selection committee will be comprised of USF advisory faculty members. The award extends the professional development activities of APA Sun Coast and is the first endowed scholarship for the USF Master of Urban and Regional Planning program. It adds to the list of generous and ongoing support Mark has quietly and graciously provided to support planning excellence in the region.
