Ryan Manasse joined Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP in April 2022 as the firm’s Director of Planning and Development. Ryan’s responsibilities include the preparation of land use applications for the firm for zoning, variances, conditional and special use permits, code enforcement, comprehensive plan, and permitting matters.
Ryan’s prior experience provides him with extensive knowledge and experience in the private and public sectors, allowing him to provide a range of quality services to our clients. Prior to joining the firm, Ryan served as Planning and Development Coordinator for the City of Tampa. He also worked in the City’s Code Enforcement Department. Ryan is a graduate of St. Petersburg College Public Safety Program and is a United States Marine Corps veteran.
Ryan is a member of the Advisory Committee for the University of South Florida’s Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) program. Additionally, he volunteered to be a mentor to a USF MURP student, which mentorship is part of the Mentor A Planning Student (MAPS) program in partnership with American Planning Association’s Sun Coast section.
