Experience

Naomi R. Nogowski is an attorney in Johnson Pope’s Litigation Practice Group. She represents corporate and individual clients in a variety of complex civil litigation matters.

Prior to joining Johnson Pope, Naomi practiced with a prominent Tampa Bay insurance defense firm, where she handled a broad range of pre-suit and litigation matters. Her approach to litigation is grounded in preparation, precision, and clear communication. She believes that every case presents a unique set of facts and personal considerations, and she works closely with clients to understand both their legal position and their broader objectives.

Originally from Philadelphia, Naomi first came to Florida to attend the University of Tampa, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management. She later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School. During law school, she served as a research assistant for the University of Notre Dame’s Pulte Institute for Global Development and clerked for Commissioner Keith E. Sonderling at the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Washington, D.C. Those experiences strengthened her research, analytical, and advocacy skills while exposing her to complex regulatory and policy matters at the federal level.

Naomi’s early professional experience also includes work in intellectual property, medical malpractice, general liability, and insurance defense giving her a well-rounded foundation in both transactional and dispute-based practice.
