Garrison M. Cohen Joins Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP

TAMPA – Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP is pleased to announce that Garrison M. Cohen has joined the firm’s Tampa office as a litigation associate. Prior to joining Johnson Pope, Garrison worked as a Summer Associate with the firm while in law school and went on to join a prominent labor and employment law firm in Tampa. Garrison has experience representing public and private sector clients in a range of cases in federal and state courts, administrative hearings, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution methods.

Mr. Cohen received a B.S. from the University of Central Florida and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, Mr. Cohen received the Book Award for both Trial Practice and Mediation. He was also very active in Moot Court serving as Director of Intermural Moot Court Competition for The Florida Moot Court Team. Other accolades received include: Finalist, Mercer Law School Legal Ethics and Professionalism Moot Court Competition – 2015; Best Brief Award, Mercer Law School Legal Ethics and Professionalism Moot Court Competition – 2015; Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Team – 2017; and Best Team Oralists Honorable Mention, Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition – 2017.

Mr. Cohen is admitted to The Florida Bar, the Middle District of Florida as well as the Southern District of Florida.
