Charles A. Samarkos Receives Barney Masterson Inn of Court Award

Charles A. Samarkos, a trial lawyer and a partner in the Clearwater office of Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP, has received the Barney Masterson Inn of Court award. The “Barney” is given annually in honor of Barney Masterson to a trial lawyer who demonstrates the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal excellence.

Charles has worked at Johnson Pope his entire 33-year career.  He has been board-certified by the Florida Bar in civil trial law since 1996.  He was named to Best Lawyers in 2010 and was named Best Lawyer of the Year in Trust and Estates in 2022.  Charles handles a wide variety of civil litigation cases, including cases involving businesses disputes, trust and estate litigation, construction defect litigation, and litigation involving non-competition agreements and other restrictive covenants.
