Alexandra Peterson and Joseph Ruppel Join Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP

TAMPA – Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP is pleased to announce that Alexandra Peterson and Joseph Ruppel have joined the firm. Both were former law clerks for the firm. They recently passed the bar exam and were sworn in to The Florida Bar. Ms. Peterson received a B.A. from the University of Central Florida and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law. During law school, she was a Senior Associate of Stetson Law Review and received several distinctions including: the Stetson Academic Scholarship; the Priscilla A. and Lawrence C. Adams Scholarship; Dean’s list; Honor Roll; Highest Grade Designations in Criminal Procedure, Constitutional Law, and Research & Writing I; and the Stetson Law Review Outstanding Associate Award. Ms. Peterson also served as a volunteer for the Pinellas County Community Law Program and Florida Rural Legal Services. She will be a member of Johnson Pope’s Health Care team and will also work in the areas of Business & Tax Law. Mr. Ruppel received a B.A. from the University of South Florida and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law. During law school, he was a Digest Writer and Senior Associate for Stetson Law Review and a Research and Writing II Teaching Assistant. He also received several distinctions including: Dean’s List; the Presidential Merit-Based Scholarship; and Highest Grade Designations in Research and Writing II, Evidence, Administrative Law, American Legal History, Trusts & Estates, Sales, Leases, & Licenses, Consumer Protection Law and Negotiation & Mediation. Mr. Ruppel also volunteered for Gulfcoast Legal Services while in law school, researching legal issues to assist low-income families. He will work in the areas of real estate & finance and land use.
