EXPERIENCE
Mr. Schiltz joined Johnson Pope after operating his private practice Scott E. Schiltz, P.L. Immediately preceding his private practice, Scott was a former partner at Boyer and Schiltz, P.A. Mr. Schiltz was also previously the Division Director of Courts “C” and “D” at the Public Defender’s Sixth Judicial Circuit in Clearwater, supervising twelve attorneys and staff. Mr. Schiltz’s eleven year experience with the Public Defender’s Office included over seventy-five felony jury trials, as well as misdemeanor and Baker Act cases.
