We Are Pleased Mark Bentley Has Joined Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns

TAMPA – Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP is pleased to announce that Mark Bentley, one of Tampa Bay’s most widely recognized land use lawyers, has joined the firm’s Tampa office.  His expertise includes eminent domain litigation, land use, zoning, mediation, noise regulation, billboard regulation, and governmental and administrative law.  He has represented numerous private property owners against various condemning authorities throughout Tampa Bay and Florida, as well as various governmental entities in eminent domain and land use matters.

Mark is a multi-awarded attorney, including recognition by Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, Legal Elite as well as A/V Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a seasoned speaker for legal issues in both media and conferences.  He is presently a member of the Florida Bar Eminent Domain committee and is one of the co-authors of the chapter, “Authority To Exercise Power” in the Florida Bar’s Florida Eminent Domain Practice and Procedures Manual, Sixth Edition.

Mark received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in political science, both with honors, from the University of Florida.  He then earned his J. D., graduating cum laude from the Stetson University College of Law, where he also served as Associate Editor of the Law Review.
