Johnson Pope Adds New Partner Mike Igel to Its Health Care Team

Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns, LLP, is pleased to announce that Mike Igel and his paralegal, Lori Ammons have joined the firm’s St. Petersburg office. Mike will be a partner and co-chair the firm’s new Health Care team and chair the firm’s new Health Care Audit Defense team. Lori will continue in her role as Client Services Coordinator.

Mike’s practice focuses on the representation of physician groups, pharmacies, hospices, hospitals and health systems, home health agencies and other health care companies in a variety of business, regulatory and compliance matters. He also has extensive experience representing health care providers in defense of HIPAA audits, and claims for overpayment by Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance payors.  Mike also counsels clients in asset protection and estate and gift planning.
