EXPERIENCE
Jonathan has been representing individual and class claimants in complex financial disputes since 1988. He has litigated in a variety of state and federal courts at the trial and appellate level, and has experience in various arbitration fora, including the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Jonathan, who holds U.S. and E.E.C. citizenship, received his B.A. in French with cum laude honors following study in Paris at the Institut d'Etudes Européennes and the Université de Paris-IV (Sorbonne). Jonathan received his J.D. (with Order of the Coif honors) from the University of Florida College of Law, where he won several book awards for academic performance and was named Outstanding Member of the Justice Thornal Moot Court Board, for which he competed nationally. In addition, Jonathan earned a graduate degree in History (with departmental honors) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has served as an instructor in the departments of French Language and European History at the University of North Carolina. Currently, in addition to practicing law, he is an adjunct faculty member (since 2007) in Securities Law at St. Petersburg College.
